Well I had my "big" interview that I was all hyped up about. I bombed it as if I was using a sewing needle to play darts. Apart from being sick, I just wasn't thinking straight I guess. Oh well, at least I know what to expect next time. Mixed with my recent wave of nauseousness and my nervousness, I left the room rather embarrassed and ultimately depressed. Recent changes in my work place have left me wondering whether I will still have a job a year or two down the line. I'm still a little under the weather, and have been shamefully vegging at home for yet another week. I must admit, having 2 computers side by side does have its perks.
My DH and I definitely need a vacation to get away from EVERYTHING. We are looking very forward going to a resort within the next 3 months, and this minibreak in Niagara Falls/Toronto will carry us over until then. I haven't had a true vacation with him since I opted to spend our vacation money visiting Vancouver for the last three years. Although I went this year again, we are both feeling the necessity outweighing our savings.
As I'm getting older, I find myself stressing about a myriad of things that I have yet to accomplish.
10 things I want to do soon...- Have 2 or 3 kids (...and be the best mom I can be )
- Explore a tomb in Egypt
- Try Bikram yoga (Yoga in a Sauna)
- Eat Pad Thai from Thailand, Sushi from Japan, and many chinese foods in China (all in one gulp...I mean trip. )
- Learn and play an entire game of 18-hole golf (currently I hit about 10 out of 60 balls at the driving range, successfully..it's going to take a while)
- Learn to dance tango and/or swing with my DH
- Meet/Get a glimpse of Angelina Jolie in person
- Go to the Eiffel Tower (and eat a baguette with fresh foie gras)
- Paint something on a canvas (most likely something very abstract like NAG's Voice of Fire for $1.8M ) and hang it in my house
- Test drive an expensive car

I want to go to Paris too. See what all the fuss is about with their bread. And Le(La?) Louvre. And Italy. See what all the fuss is about with the Vatican. Which reminds me, I'll pick up The Da Vinci code this weekend from my parents' house for you.
